Desktop Makeover

I’m getting pretty tired of the default Ubuntu theme, so I went around the web to search for a new wallapaper and theme set. This is the result:

I wanted something that is light, fresh, non-distracting, bright, sleek and of course beautiful.
- Wallpaper - I went for something retro here, prominently featuring a vintage VW or a ‘Hippie Van’ (as I like to call it). It’s photographed by Siebe Warmoeskerken. You can download it here. While you’re there, check out his other pictures too; They are AMAZING.
- Theme set - I really liked smooth green of the default gtk theme for Foresight Linux. It’s really cool and fresh… plus it works well with the wallpaper too. Right-click and save or drag and drop this link into the theme manager to install. Designed by omaciel.
HOT TIP: To give it that finished look, change the panel background colour to #C9DF9A, then set the transparency to about half.
